Regardless of whether your child or yourself is diagnosed with TS or another rare condition, mental health is a key part of helping you thrive. With the nonstop stress that comes along with health issues, we need a way to break apart and let our mind escape. Despite its universality, mental health comes in all shapes and sizes, and it can be difficult to understand what could help you cope or relax.

Who needs therapy and is it for me? How do I find a counselor that fits my need? What questions should I ask? What is sand play?

If you’ve ever found yourself asking any of these questions or have been hesitant to start your mental health journey, this webinar is the perfect safe space for you to get more information. Not to mention, sand play and the summer go hand in hand!

On August 27th at 8 pm EST, join us for the FREE webinar, Mental Health 101: Sand Play, hosted by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sara Abatiello. Once you register, you will receive the event link and have access to the recording after the webinar.

Why Sara Wants to Help You

Sara realized through her interactions with parents that many families were not fully informed on how to navigate the mental health system.

"I was frequently speaking with parents and making community mental health referrals. It became quite apparent that these families were not familiar with the mental health process, were overwhelmed, and didn't know where to start. They simply needed someone to explain/guide them through the process."

This inspired her to create a platform that could help families gain more insight into mental health services and make it an accessible process. Having been diagnosed with Lyme Disease in elementary school and now with TS, Sara has experienced the process of being a patient receiving therapeutic services firsthand. Through her professional journey, she has turned her diagnoses into a force for serving others.

Don't Hesitate; Start Your Mental Health Journey

"My goal is to assist as many families as possible through the process and allow them to feel more confident when seeking out mental health services" ~ Sara
