Do you love to read? Are you always looking for your next great book, or maybe searching for a reason to finally start that TBR pile? This summer, you can turn pages and make a difference with the Turn a Page for Turner Syndrome Summer Read-A-Thon!
From June to August 2025, readers from all over will come together to set personal reading and fundraising goals, all while supporting the Turner syndrome community. Whether you’re a book lover, a casual reader, or someone looking to give back, this event is for you!
What Is the Summer Read-A-Thon?
The Turn a Page for Turner Syndrome Read-A-Thon is a fun and flexible virtual event where you:
- Choose your summer reading goal
- Set a fundraising target to support the Turner Syndrome Foundation (TSF)
- Earn prizes for hitting your milestones
- Join a growing community of readers on Facebook to share recommendations, celebrate wins, and support one another
Whether you’re reading five books or fifty, your participation helps raise awareness and critical funds for Turner syndrome, a condition that affects 1 in 2,000 females and often goes undiagnosed.
Why Participate?
Turner syndrome (TS) is a rare chromosomal condition that affects females. It can lead to a range of health complications, including heart defects, infertility, and learning challenges. While there’s no cure, early diagnosis and access to specialized care make a world of difference.
By participating in the Read-A-Thon, you’re doing more than reading — you’re helping the Turner Syndrome Foundation:
- Advocate for early diagnosis and treatment
- Provide educational resources to families and healthcare professionals
- Fund research and raise awareness in communities across the country
When you read for TSF, you’re joining the movement to support girls and women with Turner syndrome from around the world.
Who Can Join?
Anyone is welcome to participate! Readers of all ages are welcome. Whether you’re:

How to Join the Read-A-Thon
- Register online – Create your individual or team fundraising page. It’s just $5 to join, and that donation goes directly to support our mission.
- Set your goals – Choose how many books you want to read and how much money you hope to raise.
- Spread the word – Share your page with friends and family to cheer you on and support the cause.
