Every February, we come together to recognize Turner Syndrome Awareness Month (TSAM). This is a time to uplift Turner syndrome voices and educate the world about Turner syndrome.
The conversations we start, the stories we share, and the actions we take during Awareness Month create ripple effects that last all year long by reaching communities who may have never heard of Turner syndrome before.
You don’t need a big platform or a lot of time to make a difference. When we all come together to take small actions, they add up to a big impact.
Awareness Examples from 2025
Last year’s Turner syndrome awareness efforts showed just how powerful collective action can be. If you’re not sure how you can raise awareness, we hope these examples might inspire you!
- On social media, we reached hundreds of thousands of people with information about Turner syndrome and real-life stories. Just the simple act of clicking “share” on a post helps raise awareness. Find TSF on Facebook or Instagram.
- Sadie taught her class all about Turner syndrome, which helps create a more supportive community and educate young minds about a condition many never hear about.
- Another supporter gave a lunch and learn session to his coworkers using a slide deck that TSF provided, again, reaching people who may not have known what Turner syndrome was.
- Bridget advocated to her state legislators and got an official proclamation in New York declaring February as Turner Syndrome Awareness Month, which is a step in the right direction for national recognition of TSAM.
The good news is that you’re not alone when raising awareness! TSF offers many opportunities to make it easy for you to raise awareness in your community or online, so keep reading to find out how you can get involved.
A New Way to Get Involved: Join the Awareness Crew
This year, we’re inviting you to be part of something new, The Turner Syndrome Awareness Crew.
The Awareness Crew is a low-commitment, high-impact way to raise awareness during February and keep going all year long.
As a Crew member, you’ll receive a weekly email in February and all year-round detailing a simple way you can raise awareness, because awareness doesn’t have to stop in February. You can choose to participate when you’re able, or skip a week if you need to, there’s no pressure!
Join the Turner Syndrome Awareness Crew and help create a ripple effect of awareness.
Show Your Support with TSAM Merchandise
One of the easiest ways to spark awareness is by wearing it proudly.
We’re excited to share new Turner Syndrome Awareness Month merchandise, designed to:
-
- Start conversations
-
- Build visibility in everyday spaces
-
- Show support for the TS community
When someone asks about your shirt, tote, or sticker, awareness begins.
Share Your Awareness Impact
There are so many ways to raise awareness, and we want to celebrate every effort!
You’re invited to fill out a Google Form sharing how you raise awareness during Turner Syndrome Awareness Month. Your story may be featured on our website and/or social media to inspire others and show the many ways people take action.
Whether you host an event, wear merch, or talk with your doctor or school, your efforts matter.
Let’s Make 2026 Count!
Turner Syndrome Awareness Month is about showing up together. When we take simple actions and share them widely, awareness grows, understanding follows, and change becomes possible.
