Topics would include executive functioning difficulties, social confusion, anxiety, shame, identity development, relationships, motivation, and the overwhelming mental load of daily adult life. The presentation would also discuss how NVLD can impact work, school, emotional regulation, and self-esteem, while offering practical strategies for building structure, resilience, self-awareness, and a sustainable adult life that works with the individual’s brain rather than against it.

MS in mental health counseling
Christina is a therapist-turned-coach who shifted from traditional DBT therapy after seeing how effectively DBT skills helped individuals with NVLD-style neurocognitive profiles make real progress. Her work combines these skills with directive, action-oriented coaching to help clients translate insight into follow-through. She specializes in supporting young adults who are capable but stuck, particularly during major life transitions. Her approach is structured, practical, and focused on helping clients move toward meaningful, realistic personal goals.
