Psychosocial Profile: Anxiety/Depression

Anxiety about medical issues, social anxiety, and performance anxiety can take a toll on any individual so it follows that the lifetime prevalence of anxiety or depression in those with TS is reported to be as high as 52%. Most often observed is social anxiety but also generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias and obsessive behaviors may occur with TS.
