About the Presenter:
Kathleen Redpath-Perez, Esq., began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Pedro J. Jimenez, J.S.C., Criminal Division. Following her clerkship, she spent most of her career as a trial attorney in the Adult Criminal Trial Region of the Office of the Public Defender in Trenton, NJ where she handled complex criminal matters at every stage of the criminal proceeding including jury trial. Kathleen also spent about two years in the Office of Parental Representation of the Office of the Public Defender where she represented parents who lost or were at risk of losing their children, and/or were facing a finding of abuse/neglect in civil proceedings including bench trials. Kathleen joined Disability Rights NJ in October of 2020.
