What is the NJECC?
The New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign (NJECC) is an annual workplace giving campaign. Employees of state agencies, universities, county government, municipalities, and school districts have the opportunity to support their favorite charity through payroll deductions. You may also make a one-time gift if you prefer.
What is the benefit of a payroll deduction?
By donating a smaller amount from each paycheck, you can make a greater impact for the year! For example, a $10 monthly donation equals $120 for the year, offering a greater impact than a one-time $100 donation! Deductions begin with the first pay period in January following the NJECC campaign and run until December.
How are charities included?
All participating charities must meet stringent legal requirements and apply annually.
How does it work?
There are two ways to give:
- To set up a payroll deduction online, visit https://njecc.net/ and select the amount you would like donated from each paycheck and charity.
- To set up a payroll deduction offline or to give one time by check, download and complete the form found at https://njecc.net/donors/
Where will my gift go?
During the NJECC campaign, your donation will go to the charity of your choice. Undesignated donations are proportionately distributed amongst participating charities.
When is the NJECC campaign?
The campaign is held annually in the Fall. Please check the NJECC website for specific dates.
