Turner Syndrome Retreat

Autumn Retreat for Women & Girls with Turner Syndrome

Spend a weekend in nature connecting, learning, exploring, and growing with people just like you! Turner Syndrome women, girls, and parents are invited to join Turner Syndrome Foundation for a weekend in picturesque Medford, NJ at YMCA Camp Ockanickon. Situated on Lake Stockwell surrounded by autumn’s changing leaves – this weekend is the perfect opportunity to just be yourself in a community of people who understand your story.

Past camp attendee: “Bonding with that group felt seamless. The commonality of our medical condition played a part, but I believe something deeper was at work. A combination of shared struggles and a desire for support united us. The resulting relationships have helped me to embrace my condition.”

Parent: “Camp has been a parent’s dream and has been an extremely positive experience for not only our daughter but for all of the girls.”

Who Can Attend?

Turner Syndrome women, girls, and family members are invited to attend. The minimum age to attend is 5 years-old, but parents of young children are still welcome to join us! Campers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Campers ages 16-18 must have parental consent. Siblings are welcome to attend.

Sample Schedule of Activities

No matter what you’re looking for, this weekend has something for you! Find lasting friendships, find a deeper understanding of TS, and find solace being surrounded by nature.

Day One: Arrive at camp and get settled in. Enjoy meet and greet activities to get to know each other. End the night around the campfire!
